Irrigation Sensors for Your Yard or Property
You depend on your irrigation system to keep your outdoor areas looking attractive & healthy through every season. That’s why it’s important that your system can turn on and off when it needs to, even when you’re not there to do it. With All Wet’s wide array of irrigation sensor technology, products and services, you can be sure that your New Jersey lawn & garden are well-maintained.
Two Types of Sensors
A lot of effort goes into crafting the perfect outdoor area – but it only takes one stretch of very dry or wet weather to undo all of your hard work. When it comes to making sure your investment is well-maintained with an automatic sensor, you will typically face two options:
These are placed in an unobstructed area, typically on a rooftop or open vicinity for the purpose of detecting rainfall. When the appropriate amount of water hits the sensor, your irrigation system will shut off and Mother Nature will do the work for you.
These differ from rain sensors, in that they are placed directly in the soil and rely on ground saturation over direct rainfall. These are more appropriate in areas of heavy rainfall and high humidity.

Benefits of Installing Sensors
With automatic sensing technology from All Wet, your yard will look and grow its best! The main advantages of irrigation sensors are:
Water Conservation – Sensors stop your sprinklers from being redundant.
Lowered Lawn Disease & Loss of Nutrients – The right amount of water lets your grass’s roots grow deep into the ground and absorb necessary nutrients and stay protected.
Protection From Water Pollution – Lawn additives like fertilizers and pesticides can run off into streams that can contaminate drinking water and natural habitats.
Less $ Spent on Water Usage & Fertilizer – With less runoff from your lawn, you are able to save money on your utility bills and gardening supplies such as fertilizer.
Lengthened Lifespan of System – Less sprinkler use translates to a less worn system, which means you will get more out of it over time.
